Spring break has arrived for me and now I can sort of catch up on things involving entertainment.
ABDC has winner in case you haven't heard and their name is Quest Crew. With all of the hype surrounding the first ever all female group being on par with the guys and making it to the finals, you would have thought they had the votes before the voting lines were opeen. We were wrong. Quest Crew won. It was the closest call I have ever seen in a reality competition and they won. I don't know how I actually feel about the win because I liked Beat Freaks but I also loved Quest Crew, tough.
On VH's Tool Academy, I was shocked and surprised. I can't wait until the reunion special to see which tools have reformed and which couples stayed together, got back together, or broke it off for good. I just think it is hillarious to see these people act up infront of the camera and pretend they have heart and soul. In reality I would like to believe that most can see through that "i'm totally reformed and no longer a broken man without a soul", at least I did (especially that Matsuflex). I really am excited about that and people should watch it this Sunday. There was also a marriage at the end of the show. WOW, Shocker!! Umm...... Whenever money is involved on a reality show with the main feature of love or bringing a couple together, all of the "changes" and other improvements made on the show are questionnable. We will see , we will see.
Also if you want something light to read and you are in the mood for hating people, then I suggest picking up the memoirs of a certain disney popstar sensation. Miles to Go is an autobiography about Miley Cyrus's life and the challenges she has faced while establishing her career and learning about life in general during her 16 years on the planet. I don't know if you want to take the book seriously but it should be good for a couple laughs. The only downside is you will have to read it and you will be contributing to the empire that is Miley. I rather not, I'll just wait for internet leaks and copies, etc..(basically bootlegged non copyrighted stuff)lol.
Tv has continued to crank out new episodes before the fall/spring tv season is over and it is pretty good. I'll talk about some more episodes and shows in specific in another blog, but overall shows are satisfying enough. And on one last note. I've never really been into the Bachelor but I watched the After the last rose shows and was totally like "WHAT!!??" It was wow, he broke up with Melissa and the girl he rejected, took him back (molly). All of the crying, the hysterics, and the audience reaction was crazy. It is too interesting and if you haven't seen anything on it, where have you been? Here is a funny clip to explain a little: http://video.yahoo.com/watch/4104403/1106950
Thats it for now!!

You already know my thoughts on ABDC & Tool Academy.
ReplyDeleteYou also know what I think of the ridiculousness that is "Miles To Go". *gags* I guess she should make all the money she can now because I honestly don't see her having any success in her adulthood. Funny faces & falling about can only be marketable for so long. Soon her target audience will grow up, become jaded & moody, and will leave the sillyness of the Disney channel for the darkness of HBO & the like. The younger kids growing up now will have their own Miley to obsess over & she will waste away into oblivion. Too bad she can't sing or else she could do that for the rest of her life. Maybe Taylor Swift will write her some songs that are so good they'll mask her horrible, scratchy, smoker's voice.
Hmm...I'm really angry tonight, huh?
Anyways, you MUST watch Kings on NBC! Please, please, please. Lol.
