but I guess I've kinda been keeping it all to myself.
Well first order of business is to tell you about the Awesomeness that is how i met your mother. It stars many great people but the best one of them all (or the one currently stuck in my mind) is NPH otherwise known as Neil Harris. I received all 3 seasons of the show (on sale) in the mail and ha d a complete marathon and it was totally awesome. You need to watch this how because it is just extremely funny and it blows your mind. It isn't just a sappy story about finding love but lots of cooky things occur ( as well as crude humor). Most Excellent. When season 5 starts up this fall make sure to check it out at its new time at 8 on Mondays on CBS. Its a 30 min comedy that leaves you wanting more and doesn't make you feel as if you have just wasted time in front of the tv forcing yourself to smile, smirk, or make that nervous laughter sound when you just want people to think you got the joke. Genuinley a good show.
Last on my list (short list I know but I promise I will to try to remember I have a blog) is Big Brother 11. It is into its second week and tomorrow night is the 2nd eviction. Although you would think things aren't too wild, you are wrong. A house full of weak minded mental cases (with he exception of a few), emotional nut jobs, and self absorbed muscle men/rejects; all hell is breaking loose. Everyday a person is growing increasingly paranoid, not taking anytime to rest. Everyday a person is being turned against another with their hatred causing them to taunt and revert back to their childhood way, every week it just gets more insane. There are plenty of people to hate this season and only a few to love. Unfortunately the good side is getting pummeled and this week will be crucial in determining how their luck will run for the rest of the game and if these overconfident pompous jerks will be shut down for a while.
all i can say is that it comes on 3 times a week, its live competition with daily action (which if you are obsessed, you will follow it everyday all day) and it is just a good show to watch. Again this anothe show on CBS and although it sounds like I am making a plug, I'm so not. These just happen to be two great shows that happen to be shown on the CBS network.
Thats that for now.

Summer Drama
Well Summer is officially here or at least here for all of us college students and it is...... interesting. Fall shows have wrapped up and left us waiting on the edge of our seats, or at least that was what they were suppose to do, and now we are humbly looking for something to tide us over until the fall. Perhaps we should look at this like a snack that is holding us until dinner. Well don't stuff yourself because it looks like we have a nice array of snacks laid out for us.
Wipeout is always great to provide a few laugh and anyone that does not have one ounce of spite in their heart will not be on the floor crying (this excludes no one). So yeah if you need something to get you over that hump day due to a long day working retail, an excruciating class or a mind numbingly dull day at an internship, fill free and watch ABC. For a person who is less in the mood for laughs and more for drama, then check out NBC's I'm a Celebrity, Get me outta here. It comes on Mon-Thurs and with all the Janice Dickinson hijinks, its more than enough to get people screaming or at least intrigued. Baldwin brothers and tons of other people are there to give you pleasure from 8 til 10.
If that is not the kind of drama you are looking for you have a few other options. Sit tight and wait for CBS's Big Brother 11 to start up in July or wait about a week for the premiere of MTV's Real World Cancun. They will most definitely be chock full of reality tv drama; dripping with blood, tears, and scorn. * I don't think scorn drips but I like the sound of the word.* Beisdes reality drama there is always the pleasure that is True Blood. If you haven't started watching, please do. You are severly doing an injustice to yourself and will feel oh soo stupid to realize you've been missing out. It is full of drama and you will definitely find yourself hating people.
Perhaps I am using definitely too much but anyways I digress, TNT and USA are also throwing a few shows at you to help you in your efforts to remain cool this summer, although I have not seen evidence of the sun as of yet.
It is time to soak up those air conditioning chills and wrap yourself up in a blanket in the summer. There is no better time to be a couch potato!!

A slight deviation from the normal
I told my friends that I wanted my own website and they replied with "what for? your boring."
Insult.
I can start my own website and make it interesting by doing whatever I must. People will regret the awfulness that they say to me.lol. Excuse me for the bad grammar ahead. Anyways....
I Love Money 2 is the best show on VH1 right now. Becky Buckwild's antics, Saaphyre just being herself, and Frank screaming and going crazy is another highlight. Too bad 2 out of 3 of these people are gone. Even though the first and third people are gone, the show is still as interesting as ever. Generally I recommend that you watch VH1 on monday's night for a good laugh and having a nice yell in disgust about something.
Rachel Getting Married is a really good movie, but at times it seems to try too hard to be inedpendent. Atypical camera work, and shots of certain scenes that seem like they should end sooner than they do, this movie has a pretty indie flow but is overall good. Anne Hathaway is really good but some of the family members just make me want to scream. Her mother is totally crazy and her sister has self worth issues that are probably due to Anne's behavior but she has the chance to get over it by going to theraphy. Well I should just say her sister rubbed me the wrong way but it is up to yu to determine what kind of person you think she is.
In case you didn't know Rescue Me is back and I kind feel the laughter coming on. Another great FX show, it continues into its 5th season(?) after about a year and a half (talk about a hiatus).lol It is totally awesome and is guaranteed to make you laugh and find some reason to love all the male characters and loathe the female ones, this may be somewhat anit-women but this is show is too good not to watch. It is guaranteed to suck you in for life, esp its theme song so come on come on and watch it.lol

Super Late but with entertainment updates
Spring break has arrived for me and now I can sort of catch up on things involving entertainment.
ABDC has winner in case you haven't heard and their name is Quest Crew. With all of the hype surrounding the first ever all female group being on par with the guys and making it to the finals, you would have thought they had the votes before the voting lines were opeen. We were wrong. Quest Crew won. It was the closest call I have ever seen in a reality competition and they won. I don't know how I actually feel about the win because I liked Beat Freaks but I also loved Quest Crew, tough.
On VH's Tool Academy, I was shocked and surprised. I can't wait until the reunion special to see which tools have reformed and which couples stayed together, got back together, or broke it off for good. I just think it is hillarious to see these people act up infront of the camera and pretend they have heart and soul. In reality I would like to believe that most can see through that "i'm totally reformed and no longer a broken man without a soul", at least I did (especially that Matsuflex). I really am excited about that and people should watch it this Sunday. There was also a marriage at the end of the show. WOW, Shocker!! Umm...... Whenever money is involved on a reality show with the main feature of love or bringing a couple together, all of the "changes" and other improvements made on the show are questionnable. We will see , we will see.
Also if you want something light to read and you are in the mood for hating people, then I suggest picking up the memoirs of a certain disney popstar sensation. Miles to Go is an autobiography about Miley Cyrus's life and the challenges she has faced while establishing her career and learning about life in general during her 16 years on the planet. I don't know if you want to take the book seriously but it should be good for a couple laughs. The only downside is you will have to read it and you will be contributing to the empire that is Miley. I rather not, I'll just wait for internet leaks and copies, etc..(basically bootlegged non copyrighted stuff)lol.
Tv has continued to crank out new episodes before the fall/spring tv season is over and it is pretty good. I'll talk about some more episodes and shows in specific in another blog, but overall shows are satisfying enough. And on one last note. I've never really been into the Bachelor but I watched the After the last rose shows and was totally like "WHAT!!??" It was wow, he broke up with Melissa and the girl he rejected, took him back (molly). All of the crying, the hysterics, and the audience reaction was crazy. It is too interesting and if you haven't seen anything on it, where have you been? Here is a funny clip to explain a little: http://video.yahoo.com/watch/4104403/1106950

I Phone apps, celebrity meltdowns, and other things
I was watching tv the other day when a commercial for the iphone came on explaining the new applications. RIDICULOUS!!! At first I phone apps were cool but now these app makers have lost their mind. Let's check out a sonogram while I'm having dinner with my wife, let me track my ex boyfriend while I'm at work in a company meeting, let me level my book shelf since I seem to have forgotten to buy a ruler but managed to buy every other supply at Home Depot. Gosh.. these people need to either come up with necessary realistic apps or just stop. I really don't need to check my eyesight with my ipod. Just plain dumb. If you want to seriously understand how stupid these apps are, pick up ur itouch or iphone and just browse through them (or just go onlne and search).
In case you didn't know or you missed it, Chris brown was charged with beating his girlfriend (Rhianna). Supposedly they had already been having problems with their relationship with control issues (on Rhianna's side) and Chris just got tired of it. She was reported to have bite marks and scratches on her body. this sounds weird for a guy to do. if anyone was gonna bite, I would have guessed it would have been the girl. since when have guys gotten sooo desperate that they start biting at girls or holding them down and taking nibbles from their flesh. Really weird. Also christian Bale has apparently lost his mind because he attempted to attack his sister and mother with a phone. not sure if this is true, but if it is, what is up with these guys and their weak attacks(that might sound wrong, but just wondering). Phones, Biting, what is happening?***EDIT*** It seems Chris Brown's attack was not soo weak judging from the confirmed battered photos of Rhianna. Harsh. **** Also, Bale went on a tiraid yelling at an assitant on set for getting in his eyeline and ruining his concentration for a serious scene. If you want to hear it, just youtube.
Other things: Dynamic Edition is gone and I'm pretty sure fly kicks are out the door next(ABDC).
Freaks and Geeks was and is the most awesome show and I am desperate for someone to make a Freaks and Geeks Movie: The Reunion (my own title)
American Idol is dragging out the picking of the top 12 process

SNL, ABDC, Nip/Tuck, Monday Night
On SNL this week, The Lonely Island Boys released another great music video and song. I'm on boat which featured T pain and all of the Lonely Island boys. An awesome beat and ridiculous costumes on a huge boat were hilarious. If you couldn't get enough, their cd Incredibad comes out sometimes this week and features other awesome songs a long with favorites such as D*** in a Box, Ji** in my pants, and others. They are totally awesome. Sorry for the use of awesome so much, but that is the word I feel encompases these guys.
Good Bye, ADios, Sianara(probably spelled wrong). On ABDC the Ring Masters have finally left the building. No more pity and no more sympathy for the guys from Brooklyn not being crack dealers. I am from NY and there are plenty of people that do other things with their life instead of selling crack. Come one, I know it is an accomplishment but if that's the only reason you are keeping them on the show, then axe them. You can find pity in another area. This is not America's Best CHarity case. However, they were not too bad last week but it was there time to go. Like I said, don't let the door hit you on the way out.lol. I might be harsh but I hate when people think that since you are from a certain area you are almost destined to turn out that way. Maybe I'm an optimist and think people control their own lives, whatever.
Monday Night tv at 8 was interrupted by President Obama's first official press conference. Iwas looking forward to a night of House and Chuck and all the other shows that I juggle, but then it was rudely interrupted before it even got started. I guess our nation and the state of the economy is important.lol. It was a very informative address though and it did talk about the new stimulus package and his hopes to fill up this hole we seem to have dug for ourselves. As of now, I do not know what happened to the new shows that were suppose to air but maybe they will be aired later on in the week, maybe they came on at like 3 or 4 in the morning, or maybe they plan on showing it next week. I'll find it online eventually. BUt yeah, watch Obama's speech if u haven't yet.
Last but certainly not least is Nip/Tuck. It appears Sean is being his normal horny easily seduced and controlled/confused by twisted wild women. Also it seems Christian may have a return of the cancer he just removed. Very Sad, but we will find out more next week. This episode was sort of light, but more comical than anything. There was a man who needed a penis reduction and then there were a few memorable lines, one of which was " I just want to give it baby kisses". This show is good, if you don't watch it, do. It's on FX at 10 on Tuesday.

ABDC, Superbowl, Supernatural
ABDC was interesting this week. The challenge was sort of an appreciation to Britney Spears and the groups were all over place. Quest Crew was probably the best of the night but Beat Freaks and the Fraternity group also did pretty well. Ring Masters should of had the song "Opps I did it again" because they did, do it again. More twisting, no dancing, and they seemed terribly out of sync. If it were up to me, the Ring Masters would have left but it seems that they were only kept on the show because of sympathy and the fact that they are from Brooklyn and it is an amazement that they aren't on the streets. PLEASE!!! They needed to leave last week but since it didn't happen, let's pray for this week. Dynamic Edition was also kind of weak, but it is hard to change up clogging and keep people interested. I feel they are the underdogs of this season. GO UNDERDOGS!!! Oh and a little boo to Fly Kicks because they also kind of stunk up the place.
This weeks episode of Supernatural was pretty good. They kind of took a break from the Dean storyline of " oh my god I was in Hell but now I'm saved and I'm such a brooding guy because of all the trauma I've endured", and moved to a kind of light note of Sam and Dean in high school. The casting the younger Sam and Dean was excellent, especially the younger Dean. If you closed your eyes you would of thought that Jensen Ackles was actually speaking ( also if you opened your eyes you probably would of thought the same thing). Anyways we saw them as kids and all the issues (or atleast some) they faced growing up. Some funny one-liners and Jensen in tiny gym shorts were among the many highlights of the episodes. If you didn't catch it, you should watch online, especially to see Jensen wearing tiny red gym shorts teaching a gym class about dodge ball.
In a not to surprising outcome for most, the Steelers won the superbowl. I was saddened by this fact because yet again, I was rooting for the underdogs (CARDINALS). I'm not a football fan but I ended up getting sucked into last night's game because it was just sooo good. So many twists and turns. The Cardinals almost had them. If they had only held them back in the final 2.5 minutes, but unfortunately they failed to do so. Sooooo Heartbreaking. I kind of hated the Steelers when they won and I saw them hitting the Cardinals, I was like this looks soo unfair. Every second the Cardinals seemed to be getting called out on some type of foul but even with that, they were still almost champions. 27 to 23 was the final score (I think). Darn those gold Steelers, man I wish they lost.

House, The Soup, Biggest Loser
Last night's episode of House somewhat centered around Cuddy and her new baby. It was so annoying!! First off I think they are trying way too hard to make Cuddy seem sexy and appealing. I know she is suppose to have some allure but could they be trying any harder to make her look younger. What happened to old Cuddy and the semi modest clothing she used to wear? I am so over her and her stupid storyline. House is way better than this. Cuddy as a mother isn't cutting it. I'm not used to her as a mother I don't think anyone else is either. Stop the whinny annoying Cuddy madness.
On The Biggest Loser, tonight was the final episode that determined whether or not the partners that were kicked off in week one, get to come back. In a cruel and unsuspecting twist, the couples on the show were split up the first night. There counterparts were forced to go home and their teammates had to stay behind and make sure they lost enough weight to bring their partners back. I think that was an awful twist. Obviously they couldn't do the work when they were at home, that's why they came on the show, but still they decided to send them home and make them deal with the temptations they could never seem to fight off before they were on the show. Stupid. It might make their teammates work harder but the person at home has a higher chance of suffering. Although this idea was strange, viewers tuned in to see the results of this experiment. In one of the worst outcomes, the brown team and the orange team were in the bottom 2. The 2 teams with the youngest contestants ever were in the bottom and the ranch had to make a hard choice. In the end, the orange team left but it was their own fault, most specifically, Dave. He seemed to lack ambition and kept saying he could lose weight at home ( although it didn't seem that way since he spent about 4 weeks at home already and whenever NBC would show a clip of him, he would be eating huge quantities of fat food). True NBC probably tried to portray him like that but it was probably close to the truth. Hopefully Dave will get himself together in time for the finale.
In Case You Missed it.... watch The Soup for hillarious reviews of crazy things happening in entertainment throughout the week. It airs Friday's on E! and it's so worth watching. Joel Mchale is awesome and his crew is great as well.
Interesting things will come after I get back into the groove of classes and balancing work.

Miley, Sean Penn, and others
Miley Cyrus recently made a video on her fan site Mileyworld that stated she was not insecure about her body, she wasn't a poser and loves Iron Maiden, she's friends with Demi, and she still loves the Jonas Brothers. To prove how friendly Demi and her are, she said she was going over to Demi's house for meatloaf and she stayed there for a whole hour. Wow, to be graced with her presence for an hour must mean she is truly bestest buddies with Demi. Basically it was Miley trying to stop all the rumors about her, or at least clear up stuff she felt people didn't have the facts on.
During Oscar nominations Sean Penn was announced for best Male lead in Milk and there was a lack of enthusiasm. There was one clap done by one person. No yells, no hoots, no applause. Just a clap. I don't know, maybe somebody was upset that Dev Patel was not nominated.
Tom Cruise's baby was also given a nazi bear by one of the entertainment shows and by some make up artists on the set of Valkeryie. I'm not saying anything is wrong with it, I just find it interesting.
That's all for now, there may be some updates later. Shout out to watch I Love Money 2 VH1 Feb 2 at 9pm.

Momma's Boys, American Idol, America's Best Dance Crew, and some non reality shows
In the biggest let down NBC's Momma's Boys ended after about 5 episodes. What I thought would be a show about feuding mothers and their potential mates, turned out to be something so stupid and so over hyped (in my eyes) that I was completely disappointed. The 3 males that the house were after was a Jewish New Yorker, a blond firefighter, and a college pretty boy who seemed to have a racist mother.
The only pleasure I gained from the show was the racist mother yelling at her son for kissing or even having the idea of courting a girl with some sort of tan skin. Her hissy fit on the helicopter was hilarious and made you wonder how much of it was real and how much of it was an act. In the end, almost all of the son's disobeyed their mothers and rode off into the sunset knowing the relationship they started was going to end as soon as the camera's went off. Another annoyance and disappoint to me came from American Idol. In it's 8th season it tried to spice things up by adding a new judge, Kara DioGuardi, but all I could seem to think while watching the show is " I hate this girl, I hate this girl, I hate this girl". I'm not trying to be mean but the character she is portraying on the show drives me crazy. I don't know how genuine she really is when she makes some of her comments. She just gives off some cold persona. I'm kinda hoping that she will make Simon so furious that she will get let go from the show. I guess there is time for her to change my mind but the first impression is leaving me with a pain that says kill her off (even though this is a reality show).
On MTV's America's Best Dance Crew (ABDC), this season is full of unique dancers. I feel the true underdogs is the clogger crew (Dynamic Edition). They have actual dance ability but it isn't the typical. So far they are doing well and I hope they go far but the one group that I don't get, is the twister group from Brooklyn, NY. I am from the city and I can undersatnd NYC love leading to them getting votes since they are like the only group from East Coast/NYC, but they were awful. Don't get me wrong, the tricks were good and the way they move their body is very interesting and amazing, but they look more like a circus act than a dance crew. In their first performance they basically walked around and twisted their bodies, did a couple flips, and just ran across the stage. I'm not a dancer and I'm not saying I know everything about dance but that stunk. They weren't the worst however, GOP dance deserved to leave because they seemed very sloppy. They looked like little boys trying to be ninja's flipping in the air. It does take talent to do what they do but it needed to be cleaner. Anyways, the twisters stink and need to prove to me that they can dance or maybe someone should inform me what kind of dance that is or explain why that constitues as dance. Besides these reality shows, there are others I would like to cover but for now I'll just end with a general Smallville recap/opinion.
Smallville has a steady fan base because of the characters and the comic book following but the show is getting a little old. I can understand why Tom Welling may be tired of the role and may choose not to continue on with the show after this season (supossedly)but come on, atleast put him in the glasses. I know they plan to do that later this season and I know part of the reason they are delaying these superman qualities is because the show is called Smallville and if they move it to Metroplois, how can it be called Smallville? But it needs to move along. Chloe is back from the fortress and braniac seems not to be a threat anymore, Lana is running around with a not so secret secret, seeing as it seems everyone knows what Lana did besides Clark (which was most likely have Lex's baby), Clark is still trying to find himself and what he's meant to do (although I feel like he's been searching long enough), and odd characters continue to run in and out of the show. The show in general is a little frustrating, but I think there is still life within it, or maybe I'm just aggravated with last night's episode and I am taking it out on them because of that one mistake episode. Whatever it is, I just hope the next episode is better.
In all, those are my opinions on some of the tv shows that kept my eyes burning because I refused to fall asleep.

Slumdog Millionaire
Slumdog Millionaire is a movie that people need to see. Adapted from the book Q & A, Slumdog is a dramatic lovestory full of action and incredible music. Set in 2006 Mumbai, we see the life story of Jamal Malik unfold before our eyes in his attempt to explain why he knew the answers to the questions on Who wants to be a millionaire. I won't spoil anything plot wise, but you have to see it. It's worth the $10-$14 you might spend on a movie, you'll definitely leave feeling satisfied.Dev Patel is really good in it and so are the children actors playing the various characters at different ages.
Following the traditional route of films with an element of bollywood, in the ending credits there is an elaborate song and dance scene using bright colors and traditional dance moves set to the Golden Globe winning Jai Ho. If you are too cheap I recommend you find it online and there are sites that will not leave you in fear that you will catch this new dangerous worm running around (really, I've found it and the quality is absolutely great). See it and understand why it is nominated 13 or 12 times for the Academy Awards.
